5/1/09 Suge Scares Off Buyers For Death Row
Although there is tons of unheard music from Tupac and Snoop Dogg included, the sale of Death Row Records seems to be hard to come by. The infamous record label goes up sale on January 15th but would-be buyers don't want to be involved with Suge. “Some people don’t want to go near the catalog because they think Suge still believes it’s his,” a source told the Daily News.
Suge has to put the legendary label up for sale after he filed for bankruptcy back in 2006. If you think the label has been up for auction before, you're right. Authorities tried to auction off the catalog before but Suge was accused of hiding a portion of the collection from the potential buyer Global Music Group.
